CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Design Manager

Technical Department, Solihull and our developments as required

The ideal candidate will be a solution-focused individual who shares our passion for place-making and can demonstrate agility and problem-solving.  

Commercially minded, you will be result-orientated, thrive in a team environment, and have the capability to develop yourself and others. 

Experience of working in a Design / Technical team in a residential house-builder, you will be skilled in using AutoCAD and have a detailed knowledge of the NHBC standards and Building Regulations. 

What you can expect to spend your time on:

You will oversee the design process and provide technical support to our Construction, Commercial, and Customer Care teams from concept to project completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. 

You can expect to be involved in:

Reviewing Land Opportunities

Supporting the Planning team with Planning Applications. 

Value Engineering 

Managing Third Party Consultants to support the wider project team. 

Leading Client Discussions around Technical queries to ensure their requirements are met

Resolving technical queries 

Who will you be working with?

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work closely with your colleagues in the Design/Technical, Commercial, and Customer Care teams and our site-based production teams.
